Good

Beautiful old-fashioned curtains, real-wood furniture, and interior design. Room was clean, and reception let me have a package delivered to the front desk for me to pick up.

The shower was awful. Half of the shower was open to the rest of the bathroom and the other half was merely a glass door that water could still seep under. The result? Each time I had to use the shower, the entire bathroom floor got soaked and I would have to use all the towels in the room to mop it up afterwards. There was no way to turn the shower head to prevent water from seeping out into the bathroom.

Wonderful

The checkin was pretty smooth even being done in a late time of the day, the room was super clean as well as the bathroom. The hotel was under remodeling and there was some noise early in the morning, but it was after 10:00 so nothing critical!

We had a welcoming water bottle when we arrived to our bedroom, we saw a sign saying "free water" but a price tag of 4€ so we were really confused. So the idea was to leave the sign for room service to clean the room and then they would leave a voucher in the room and then we could claim our bottle of water, so in reality we had to pay for the water and never really got the other voucher because we wanted to sleep until late, this was very confusing and borderline a scam.

Decent hotel near rail station

Close to Vienna main rail station, Vienna Hauptbahnhof. Good breakfast, big bedroom and comfy bed. Decent shower.

Met our location requirements and value for money expectations (Read the recent reviews however)

This hotel is undergoing some renovations (Oct/23). It is also older, and although the online rating calls it a 4 star it's a bit more like a 3+ -> However that's just fine as it is clean, the staff friendly, the price was good value for money, and what we got was completely consistent with our expectations based on recent online comments. Our room's washroom had been recently renovated and had nice finishings. My guess is that once the renovations are complete (they seem to be mostly doing the outside facade and inside staircases at the moment), that it will be nicely rejuvenated.

The hotel is under renovation. It didn't disrupt our stay but there is scaffolding outside and there are workers doing their thing during the day. (we were aware this would be the case based on recent online comments). Although the washroom in our room had been nicely renovated the walls needed repainting. Judging by the other renovation work going on my guess is that this is on management's to-do list.

positive stay, some secondary items coud be improved

room was spacious, we did not take breakfast (it is always better to include it in the room's price), good location, somewhat noisy because the hotel is in a renovation project

Vintage charm and convient

The hotel is with vintage charm. The room is not big but it’s clean and cozy. The e location is good because it’s close to central station and there are several lines of tram nearby. The most important thing is close to Belvedere Palace!

A decent hotel at an ideal location

The breakfast spread was good. But it was the same spread for both the days of stay. Could have been different. Ideal location close to the train station.

For a property advertised as 4 star, it was a bit disappointing. There was no tea/ coffee maker in the room. Not even a free bottle of water.

Location is not super central but there’s public transportation nearby

Nice short stay

Very convenient location, close to the train station. The room was big and comfortable with a very wide and clean bathroom.

Lack of availability at the front desk, we waited a long time until someone came back to check us out. Hopefully we were not in a rush but that was slightly annoying.

OK for one night

Good location, The gentleman at the reception (cultured and Well mannered)

The hotel has a dated vibe, renovation work is in progress as per notices at the time. The room had a old dated vibe however the washroom was newly renovated and bright. No kettle for tea in the room, no complementary water. We found a cockroach in the room. The hotel needs to have proper regular cleaning of the rooms and not just ask the guests to throw their garbage out. (Good thing we only stayed for one night)

Good

The room smelt moldy, the ventilation wasn't good and the air conditioner wasn't working so I had to sleep with the window open. The only good thing is the bathroom which was nice and clean and spacious. Extra towels too. Overall not a bad experience. But probably because of the construction work going on, it wasn't a pleasant experience
